The RAE Law Group is a private, non-profit legal practice dedicated to promoting, enforcing and advocating for the rights of victims and survivors of domestic violence, trafficking, and sexual assault and exploitation.
The victims and survivors of these crimes often have legal needs that exceed the scope or capacity of the direct service organizations that helped them to escape their abusers. Those legal needs often go unmet for individuals who do not meet the qualifications for free legal aid.
That’s when The RAE Law Group can help.
The RAE Law Group provides high-quality legal services for a nominal fee to those victims who cannot afford a private attorney but also do not qualify for free legal aid. The RAE Law Group can provide advice and representation in the areas of divorce, child custody, post-judgment modifications, access to benefits, relief under the Violence against Women Act and the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act, and more.
The RAE Law Group works collaboratively with the referring direct service organizations to help to ensure that all of the client’s needs are being addressed.
In addition to providing direct representation, The RAE Law Group also makes “These Are Your Rights” presentations to groups of victims and survivors. “These Are Your Rights” presentations can be tailored to address the specific legal concerns of each group.
